How CCH Will Market Your Home During Level 3 Of Lockdown

The provision of real estate services by estate agents in South Africa has been restricted during the first corona virus pandemic lockdown of March & April 2020 - as it was not classified as an essential service.

That did not change the fact that shelter (read housing) has always been seen as one of the most fundamental human needs. It also did not change the fact that people will always be motivated by the so-called 5D's in one's life cycle to buy or sell property - i.e. divorce, debt, depart, downscale and death.

As with all times when things are getting tougher, we need to toughen up to get going (apologies to John Kennedy & Billy Ocean).

Until we have an approved vaccine for the Covid-19, we all need to adapt what we have been doing pre-2020 to ensure that our bio-physical safety needs are first met - especially when it comes to enjoying one's own home without fear.

Marketing property safely and within the very distinct parameters of social distancing has therefore become a new non-negotiable and an inherent part of the real estate industry.

  • Gone are the days of allowing unqualified buyers access to your home - as the corona pandemic has truly laid down a whole new set of "visiting house rules" for those you can allow into your inner sanctum.
  • The application by the estate agent of social distancing enabled marketing tools is another non-negotiable in the pre-vaccine supported Covid-19 world.

The array of online marketing platforms, 3D fully immersive properties and video communicating tools used by the CCH estate agents, gives our clients the freedom and power to visit property safely from anywhere in the world. It also enables our member agents to provide a social distance enabled marketing service which every client expects and deserve in the post-lockdown reality.

The following marketing tools and WHO recommend sanitary practices will be employed:

1. Our estate agents will practice strict social distancing - employing WHO sanitising directives to prevent the spread of the corona virus

2. Our estate agents employs an online client screening system for all appointments ensuring all potential clients are not posing a risk to you & themselves

3. Our member agents will provide you with an online screening questionnaire about their own health condition before visiting your home & will operate at your property according to an approved industry workplace protocol (which includes temprature checks)

4. Help you determine the appropriate selling price given the present market conditions

5. Employ fully immersive 3D Photography & drone video footage for a complete picture of the property

6. Market your property online to local & international property portals to give it maximum exposure

7. Employ Walk-Thru Viewings (WTV) on Demand via personal video calls for pre-qualified buyers

8. Introduce Your Property To The Buyers On Our Database via newsletters

9. Employ Walk-Through Viewing (WTV) on Demandvia personalvideo calls for pre-qualified buyers

10. Arrange Video calling / conferencing (e.g. Zoom) discussions with buyers, bond brokers & conveyancers when necessary to conclude sales agreements

For more information on how to get your marketing campaign started even before the end of the lockdown, please give one of our member agents a call - or send your contact details to us : https://www.cch.co.za/list-your-property/
