Award winning 1692 Cape Dutch style Guest House and Wine Farm.
Charming country Cape Dutch style Guest House and Wine farm that is one of the oldest
wine farms in the Boland, with loads of history, ambiance and old world charm. Previously
owned and farmed for 40 years by one family. It was originally owned by two brothers du Toit
who came to South Africa in 1685. The du Toit families in South Africa all originated from
this farm and the brother who established himself in Stellenbosch. The brother who owned
this farm was the Mayor of Klein Drakenstein that became Paarl later on. The Majestic
Du Toit's Kloof Mountains was named after the one du Toit brother, and is seen from every
corner of this historic 1692 farm, with lush green vineyards and orchards that adds to the
natural beauty around you! This original du Toit family contributed immensely to the history
of South Africa, and therefore, a new owner is getting a lot of value for his money. The farm
was divided into two parts on which the first Afrikaans school was built in South Africa. The first
church in Paarl has links to this family. The real issue at hand is what this beautiful farm offers!
