Twin Palms Property is a fairly "new" suburb with slightly smaller erven (+-400m 2) than the other Strand suburbs. Twin Palms is especially popular with first time buyers or people scaling down. Twin Palms, a typical "scaling down to" neighborhood & very popular amongst starter families and pensioners, has of late experienced sales of up to +- R1100 000 for a 3 bedroom house. Smaller 2 bedroom townhouses are already selling from about R650 000 to R800 000. The highest price for a 3-bedroom house achieved during the last few months had been R1,05 million. The highest priced house to date to be introduced to the market was at R1,235 million.

A variety of secondary schools are available : Strand High - 2 kms from Twin Palms & Hottentots-Holand High (5kms), whilst the primary schools Lochnerhof Primary (2 kms) and Hendrik Louw Primary (2 kms) are also very close. The Soteria complex in Die Bos has a fulltime crèche.
