Our Business Agents

Gerrit Lotz
I have been privileged to live in the Boland since the early 1980’s and have come to love and appreciate “country style living”. This is where our two children grew up and received their schooling. I am married and with the assistance of my wife we run our property business.

I own a small antique shop and enjoy the restoration of some of the furniture that regularly crosses my path. I am a practical person and I can advise buyers regarding the potential and feasibility of any extension or renovation of property. I have come to know the Boland very well over a period of 25 years and therefore believe I’m in the position to give sound advice.

After completing my commerce degree I was employed by the Corporation for Economic Development in Natal in the industrial division. Thereafter I was offered a position with Nedbank with the purpose of establishing a marketing office in Paarl, developing the Boland area.  After a number of years I joined ABSA bank (then Trust Bank) as a corporate banker, commuting to Cape Town on a daily basis while keeping my roots in Paarl.

To prevent a transfer to the North, I joined a well-known wine estate as General Manager. However, after a few years in the wine industry I eventually left the Boland when I became General Manager of a Christian-based investment company in Bloemfontein. To my delight and that of my family, I was transferred back to the Cape in 2004 and have been residing in Wellington since.

I retired two years ago and I’m focused on using my property and business acumen gained over the years tothe benefit of clients that seek property and businesses in the Boland area.
